Hi, love the picture of Nat, he looks like a lovely old boy and nice to see him looking so content after the surgery. With regards to chemo, I 'm really not sure. We did it with Mou last year and although she didn't have any issues at all health wise with it and wasn't sick or off her food I'm just not convinced it did anything to increase her lifespan. She was only with us for 5 months after the amp before the cancer returned and we had to let her go. We decided to opt for chemo because amputation combined with chemo is generally the best way of treating bone cancer and we just couldn't say no because we wanted to try everything possible for Mou and didn't want any regrets. I knew that if we didn't try and we lost her we'd be wishing we'd tried all the options but of course even though we did everything possible for her we still didn't think we'd tried hard enough to save her! It's a very personal decision and of course cost has to come in to it too, the amputation plus the chemo cost us an absolute fortune but we just felt we had to try. I'd most likely amputate again but chemo I'd really have to think about and until it happens again I honestly couldn't say if I'd go down that road or not. Hugs for Nat and I hope your sister is coping with everything ok. Sian x

Yes Sam, that is Pepper. They lay down together and Pepper lay her head on him so gently. Bless. Nat seemed quite perky. He kept asking for food. Has been kept on chicken and rice since the op as his poo has been quite runny. He is managing really well on his three legs.
