Nat is doing really well. Eating like a small horse and going on little walks around the carpark where they live. Well done Nat. Any thoughts on Chemo. Good idea or not. What are the side effects? Hopefuly try and get down there to see them later in the week so will have some more info.

Really glad to hear he's doing so well, have been looking out for an update. Sorry can't help regarding chemo but I think Sam wrote about Dickie's reaction to chemo on this thread.

wonderful news xxx our Lucky had Chemo after amputation and didn't suffer any side effects although her cancer was so aggressive it didn't help. Jim had no chemo and lived another 2.5 years after amputation and he was a big old grey at the time. Keeping everything crossed.

Dizzy had chemo with minimal side effects she was a bit off her food and lethargic for a couple of days but she tolerated it well. Not all dogs do though

He looks fantastic )such a neat wound Our Gracie had her leg amputated 2 1/2 yrs ago after a severe break. I know you mentioned stairs, Gracie had her amputation sat, home sun and was so determined to get upstairs as she loves to lie on the beds that we taught her how to manage them on the tues and she was going up and down safely by the end of the week - but ours are very easy and not steep. She has never slipped or fallen on them and never had a problem jumping onto the beds or in and out of the car etc but we do use a ruffwear harness on walks which was essential in the early days. Hope he continues to do well
