I thought he cut his foot this morning on our walk but couldn't see anything? took him out for a wee mid morning and one of the girls noticed blood on floor when we came back into work, 
About hour ago took him back into garden for wee and there is lots of blood  I have called the vets and we have an appointment at 4 he's looking poorly and off his food,  and warm he was fine yesterday (but thinking back his pal Barney has been licking Ozzys winkle for a couple of days??)
Anyone had anything similar? Hopefully just a simple infection that antibiotics should cure but healing thoughts please for my little boy

Sounds like a water infection, dogs can pee blood with this. It also makes them feel like cack. If it is that he'll be right as rain after antibiotics |

River did this a couple of times and it is really scary. Might be worth trying to get a sample to take if you've got an empty jar handy. Antibiotics always cleared Rivers up really quickly. Hope he's better very soon |

Fingers crossed it's nothing nasty and a course of antibiotics will sort him out. Keeping him in our thoughts and do let us know how you get on at the vet. Sian. |

I do know that dogs can get cystitis the same as humans as Flann had it once. A course of antibiotics soon put him right.

Thanks for all your good wishes, Vet thinks is a water infection felt his prostate which she said was a little large, gave him an inflammatory injection and antibiotic for a week. Ozzy feelin poorly even gave him the lamb bone with tons of meat left and he turned it down, 
just need to try and get him to drink to flush it out any tips?

No tips on drinking, unless he's not having any- then try syringing small regular amounts of water into the side of his mouth.
Hope he's feeling better soon
