Toyota Avensis estate - very good boot space, with cubby holes under the floor for bits and pieces and a mesh screen to pull up to discourage slobber on the back seats ! Would fit a couple of greys easily. If you folded down the back seats you'll get loads of space for more dogs !!

I used to have an Avensis estate and absolutely loved it (have still got the dog guard, if you're interested!!) and now have a Freelander, in which 7 assorted lurchers fit with the back seats removed (easily done) ..... and a Berlingo van, in which 8 will fit.

Subaru Forester and Mitsubishi Shogun, and we can get our three lurchers comfortably in both, although any more is a bit of a squeeze and the muzzles have to go on

I have a MKII Volkswagen Golf GTI. If you fold the back seats down, I swear it has more room in the back than a van! My two stretch out in there no problem! Its also REALLY fast & looks pretty too, but thats mainly for my entertainment Clare xx

we have a volkswagen golf and can easily fit 2 hounds in the boot if the seats are folded down, no space for pasengers of course, but who needs passengers when you have 2 gorgeous doggys!

Hubby is thinking of going back to one car which probably means going back to an XC70 to have space for Drum the Grump to stretch out without anyone touching him

We have Audi A6 avant, enough room for cage in the boot for the dogs and some room for our daughters clobber!

My transport is a dinky little Ford Ka; is this too small for a greyhound (with rear seats folded down)?

BMW estate with leather seats as they are easier to clean slobber off of Me too, but without the leather seats They'd definately be a bonus.

We have a Fiat Marea Weekend (Estate) which we managed to get four greyhounds in without too much of a squeeze with all the seats down and gets three in comfortably. My old Fiat Uno would fit two easily with the seats down. We have decided that if we ever win huge amounts on the lottery we're going to ask Aston Martin if they'll do us a DB9 estate

We have a Landrover Discovery with seats down so plenty of room for our 3. Also have a Vauxhall Frontera Sport also with the seats down for them too.

My transport is a dinky little Ford Ka; is this too small for a greyhound (with rear seats folded down)? We have a Ka (as well as a Transit van) and we've had Lloyd and Sorda in the back of ours with the seats down. They are both 28" to the shoulder.
