We bought a Ford Tourneo minibus - took the back seats out, and fitted that space with crates. 7 dogs in crates, 2 harnessed to the passenger seats in the middle, us in the front and then the roofbox for all the luggage. It's great - pokey, got a good deal as it was the end of model line.

Ford Mondeo estate with the back seats permanently down for three greyhounds. It was only bought as a dog taxi. Would love a van though.

Volvo V40 (an estate) Can fit 2 greys comfortably in the boot if you want to carry passengers in the back. With seats down would probably fit 5/6 in if they budge up. Can't get 3 with the Fella in as well cos he's a nightmare traveller, won't settle down so he goes in the front passenger seat with his car harness on ;D

I started out with a VW Polo with the back seats permanently down, but they don't fold quite flat, so now have a Citroen Berlingo, also with the back seats permanently down. Two greyhounds can lie on their sides with their legs stretched out . But now the tax has gone up, I may be back to smaller cars at soem point - somone told me the Honda Jazz back seats go completely flat.

I have a Masda Demio. Back seats permanently down & they lie flat. Bought a piece of foam for the space in the back & have one of those fitted car covers which are elasticated to fit over the folded down seats . Have a couple of these so can be easily changed for washing.

I've got a peugeot 306 estate which I love, I only ever take 3 hounds out at a time so its fine. When we all go anywhere, we've got a Vauxhall Vivaro so all 6 fit comfortably in the back. We had a back seat fitted for the kids. There's usually 3 of us in the front, one child and Willow on the back seat ;D and the rest on the floor.

18 year old Mercadies Estate, fits 2 greyhounds very easy, and very smooth, back has gas suspension. Roxy used to hate the car when we had a Jaguar and an Audi but now jumps in no problem

Toyota Yaris the new shape, you can put make the back completely flat and i would say can fit 3-4 greyhounds in with the seats down, but one comfortable in the boot with seats up, but i do sometimes squeeze my 2 in the boot for short journeys and they both have room to lie down.
We are considering getting a transit connect van once ben has pasted his test
