Cherokee Jeep 4x4 for 3 large lurchers, that's with the back seats down and makes for plenty of comfortable stretched out space.

Gave up on cars when we went to 4 dogs! Have a vauxhall vivaro van now and I love it. Its similar to a transit in size but has a nice poky engine in it, and some extras like air con which is handy for summer long journeys. Gave it to Barjo engineering for a day and have it kitted out with 4 enourmous cages so all 4 can sprawl out in their beds while we travel. We get the front seats plus the top of the cages for our luggage and dog food etc.(with lots of the lovely bundgey cords!) Never thought I would take to the van but I love it, prefer it to driving a car now. There are some lovely vans about now.

Citreon Berlingo with the rear seats removed. Full height dog grill and room for my 3 in comfort and have got 5 hound in. No room for passengers and the dogs get to lie on the luggage Looking at changing it for something that might be able to take the 3 dogs and at least one passenger. Probably end up with a van!
