We nominate Blake's best friend and playmate, beagle PADDY, now advancing in years - and uncertain amount, as he was rescued by our good friend from the Beagle Rescue organisation about five years ago. PAID

This is Alf , a working type beagle, who we got from the local kennels, badly abused in a previous home, it has taken 3 years to sort his SA, and loads of other issues. He is a truly gentle soul and a bit of a comedian, and we love him to bits! PAID

Splash chose us when we went to have a wander around our local RSPCA centre, ignoring all of the families trying to look at him and craning his neck to see us. We knew we were the chosen ones Thanks to his saluki genes, he's a quirky "little" fella but we wouldn't have him any other way We got Jess at the same RSPCA centre. Like the time we got Splash, we had just gone to have a wander around. She is a small Patterdale Terrier x who has a big heart and the mind of a rottweiler. PAIDPAID
