Hi am a newbie to the site We have an 8 year old and got another 19month old in November. She is good during the day although isn’t fond of the outside walking but hoping she will settle in time; our problem is she will not stay in her bed during the night and paces to be let out a minimum of 4 times very night
We have a routine with our first girl and thought she would fall in but nothing seems to work. We tried walking her late, letting her out for a pee at midnight but she still wants to go out last night it was 1.30 245 and 40 clock... it’s exhausting 🙁
We have monitored what she drinks but it doesn’t seem excessive Help please!!

Hi and welcome!
Just a few thoughts.... Does she sleep in your room? Is she with you a lot during the day? She might find it hard to settle at night away from you if things is the case.
Have you considered a crate? It doesn't need to be closed but somewhere she can hide away and feel secure without you.
She might be cold so a pair of dog pj's may solve your problem!
I'm sure others will be able to add some suggestions and ideas x

Hi and thanks for the welcome
I don’t think she’s cold as we keep heating on low Yes she is with me all day and I did Think it was separation but She goes happily to bed ..I have stayed up so her last pee is sometimes 1215 but as last night she woke me at 115 and 235 and up at her normal time of 610 but this is to play!!!
I am happy that she wakes us to go out and not peeing inside but it’s frustrating but I don’t want to ignore it and it will be the one time that she has an accident
I think the crate maybe an idea but am also thinking to get her bladder check out although she doesn’t appear to drink any more than our other dog
Thanks for your help

Have you had her vet checked for a UTI? I'd have her sleep on a dog bed/duvet beside your bed if you don't already. I'd also get her a coat/PJ's as she might actually be feeling cold even though you don't think she should.
