Poor Duke has been in the wars. Since Monday he was not able to weight bear on his back right leg. He went to the vet who have done blood tests, these have all returned clear and an x-ray was also clear. He went back Tuesday and had an ultrasound which showed a swollen lymph gland but nothing else. The fluid sample from around the node is not back yet. His leg has started to swell fairly significantly over the last few days, he has been back to the vets today who have prescribed steroids and more antibiotics. They are scratching their heads over what this may be, has anyone else had anything similar? I am wondering if I should contact a vet who is more specialised in greyhounds, my vet is very very good but I have heard of a chap at nantwhich who has rave reviews with Grey's. The big man has been lame in The other back leg recently but this was due to problems with an old toe amputation which has now settled. I am so worried about my boy, has anyone had anything to with similar? Thank you
