Peter has just seen the vet for his check-up one month after a dental, at which he had 12 teeth removed. I am regularly brushing both our greys' teeth every night, to maintain their dental health. However, the vet is now recommending the above food, fed dry, which is it seems "clinically proven to reduce bacteria laden plaque". I bought a 2 kg pack from the vet's for £13.42.....We will try it,but to be honest, it looks as though the price is prohibitive! Has anyone else had any experience with this food? Thanks.

No and I wouldn't, I'm firmly in the sceptic camp, I reckon it's just a money spinner for them. My vet reckons nothing beats brushing them every night. Gracie is fully fed on wet food no dry and her teeth are far cleaner! I reckon wet gets licked off unlike kibble which sticks in little gaps like bits do in our teeth.

No I don't have experience of this food but as Vicky has said brushing is the best protection.
as well as brushing I also give mine a marrow bone every couple of weeks but if you do you must supervise at all times.

No experience of this food and it does sound expensive. Brushing is probably best when Peter's mouth has healed. Maybe start a couple of times a week and build up. I use Arm & Hammer for dogs, beef flavour, order on-line, which has a nice consistency and doesn't fall off the brush. I have also used Neem Powder as well which helps to remove stains.

Pretty helpful information on dental hygiene. I am in search of reputed dentists for getting treatment of my tooth cavities. Searched online and came to know about dentist Redondo Beach. Looking forward to take treatment from him.
