A young lad lost his dog 2 weeks ago locally when the dog was spooked by thunder. I bumped into him an hour or so after the event and suggested he got in touch with dog lost and he has had great help from everyone. After initial sighting the same day there was no news. He came round today as I have a very good map of all the green spaces and worked out places she might hole up. Low and behold she has been spotted a few days ago in a cemetery with some foxes!. The staff at the cemetery have been helpful to him in allowing him access but I think he needs expert advice. my suggestion was to take some very nice food and some item that smells of him and leave it but not to spook the dog if she doesn't approach him straightaway. He has been but not seen the Lola ,I am hoping the Dog lost area coordinator will respond to his post but any clever tricks would be helpful to pass on. I am so hoping that the dog will go to him without a fuss as it looks like there may be further storms on Thursday. Its okay. Hip Hip Hooray.Went with the lad and laid down some food. This evening He went back with his Mum and the Doglost coordinator and Lola was caught.

Just in time as we had the most humungous thunderstorm last night. There are so many lost dogs out there and the human world is so unforgiving.
