Hi guys, I have to go away for a weekend (Friday and Saturday, back Sunday) and was wondering what would be the best thing to do, by that time we will have had Billy for 3 weeks. Would it be best to kennel him or to see if my in laws will take him? If my in laws don't feel comfortable taking him ill just cancel what I've got on.
Thanks

If you have only had him 3 weeks he is better off with you. It's less confusing as at least the people are familiar

Can Billy go back to the kennels he came from and is familiar with, for the weekend?

I would not consider sending it back to the kennels he came from after you having him for only such a short time. It would be very confusing for him and he may think you are getting rid of him. I would keep him with you after such a short time as this is the bonding period which as I said could be very confusing for him.
