We have Tia (collie cross girl) & Colin (GG greyhound x boy) They are both 4yrs now. had Tia 3yr & Colin over 2yr. No problems with them. Boris ( GG whippet/greyhound arrived just over 1 year ago.Boris has attacked Colin several times, never Tia. Boris was very toy possesive so removed all toys, he is food aggressive so fed separately. They run loose in the field, boys muzzled & play quite roughly but very rarely "kick off". I never leave them together when I go out. Travel together ok, walk on lead ok together. Had no trouble for several months then tonight Boris suddenly turned on Colin & a big fight ensued. Luckily we got them apart before any damage but Colin was very upset. Boris is all swaggers & pleased with himself. I have had dogs all my life but never one like Boris, I cant make out any of his behaviour , or make any headway with training. Any advice gratefully recieved. I wont part with any of them even if we have to divide the house into separate "dog houses". Tia gets on fine with both boys. They are both sat here on sofas with muzzles on. (GG ones). Im swilling whisky !!!

With aggression, and Boris being such an odd little man bless him I think its probably not something anyone here can be advising about....please speak to Lisa first and foremost and consider getting Jim Greenwood in to assess him. Hope Colin is ok x

I e mailed jim greenwood (on Lisas advice) but got no reply. Guessing we are too far away. Colin is fine, he is young & much bigger & comes off best.Keeping them apart for a while, stair gates, till they settle down. Looking round for help but cant see anyone in this area with a good reputation.

Try contacting Jim again, I know he keeps busy but I don't imagine he would just not reply....even if it is too far maybe he could suggest someone closer. Maybe use the contact form on the website or try calling him: www.jandjgreenwood.co.uk/contact.phpWith aggression issues I can totally understand you want to get a behaviourist who is recommended, its such a complex and difficult situation to deal with x

E mailed JG again .Maybe if its too far he can recommend someone. I cant walk all 3 together any more as Boris behaviour is making Colin misbehave. Holidays are chosen to suit Boris (isolated). We cant go on a beach with other dogs or sit outside at a cafe. Last time we thought sit here & let him bark himself out, safely behind a fence, he made himself ill.Good job we love the little beast. Oddly he is 100% good with children & people, any stranger can fuss him & he is happy.

When speaking to Jim on Saturday he did say emailing wasn't always the best way to contact him. I'm sure lisa would give you advice. Also sure Jim will get back to you eventually is there a number for him anywhere. Good luck with the behaviour
