Hi, My 10 year old, Whizzbit. is having some trouble with a rear paw. A few years ago he had a clot in his spine whilst running and it paralysed his rear legs. Fortunatley over a few weeks he managed to get to walk again although with an unusual style. This causes him to catch a couple of rear claws on the ground every few strides. Over the years these claws have worn down and now one is so short that the pad is starting to catch on the ground and getting a bit sore.
I think the only route is a shoe of some kind. Has anyone had any experience of using a shoe, where did they get it and how do you get the right size?
Many thanks for your help. Cheers Toby

I've got the same boots as Vicky for our little whippet x but our big male greyhound has corns and wears therapaw boots on his front feet. They are more expensive but much better for him. I did buy him some of the others but they wouldn't stay on him for some reason. I don't think they were long enough. Therapaw have been fabulous for him. As for size, Joe is 34kgs and 29"tts and has the T/F size. Best to check on the size guide though.
