Sadly, Hetchin needs a new home with a loving family - he is currently nr Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. He is a lovely natured gentle dog, and is the offspring of a Deerhound x Greyhound and Exmoor lurcher (Deerhound x Greyhound x Bedlington Terrier), and is a tall hound. He is good with children and possibly cats ... he is curious and wants to play with them but shows no aggression towards them at all and it is thought that he could, with careful introduction, be fine with cats. Hetchin wants to play with most dogs he meets, but has on occasion recently shown a little aggression towards a few dogs, but a pattern has yet to emerge. He does go off lead and his recall is pretty good, he will virtually always come for treats. If he spots something small and furry, he is a little harder to recall, as are most lurchers! Hetchin can be left for 3 - 4 hours, and sleeps happily in his bed until his owner returns. He is neutered, vaccinated and wormed/deflead to date. If you feel you can offer Hetchin a perfect home, please fill in our Pre-Adoption form here ... www.greyhoundgap.org.uk/homing-and-adoption/pre-adoption-questionnaire marked for the attention of Liz. All homes will be homechecked by one of our experienced homecheckers.

Has he found a home ? He can come and live with us in Kent. Two Lurcher girls, lots of long walks and we have a gate onto the beach. Husband works from home...son comes and goes. Dogs are rarely left. Let me know ?

Thank you for your enquiry - I have emailed his owner as to whether he is still available and will let you know.
