Dry itchy sore feet

Hi guys, need to get some advice.

Lola has had a bad reaction this year and her feet get very red, itchy, dry and sore at times.  An antihistamine stops her chewing her paws but I wanted to know if I could put any cream on to help?  She has seen the vet a number of times & had tests. 

Any ideas what is safe?

No advice but kisha has very dry feet so I'll be interested to see what people say

Got some stuff from vet Daniel Doherty to help with Paddy's dry pads called Dermoscent Bio Balm made of natural ingredients. Says on the label it moisturises dry and calloused skin on elbows, nose sand pads. Haven't tried it yet because Paddy has had treatment to his pad. It wasn't on prescription. Might be worth a look.

I bought some Hypericum (and have tried Calendula) cream last year to help treat our lurchers feet which were very red and sore/itchy. I never really got to the bottom of the problem but it was either a yeast infection (changed her diet) or a reaction to grass/allergy. It's a really useful product as its not harmful if ingested -she chewed her paws constantly (all the fur was bright red/orange and she had sores in between her pads) and like any cream would be good for dry skin as well as soothing. Also all natural. The problem hasn't returned this year, but wouldn't hesitate to buy it again-would go for Nelson's Hyperical cream - about £5 from Amazon but you may find cheaper. Terri

I was also going to suggest Mushers Secret as a barrier cream.  If Lola's feet are still sore, you could get some Bob Grass Skin Cure Cream.  It stinks to high heaven (extremely sulphurous) but has excellent healing properties www.bobgrass.co.uk/product.html

You may get it a little bit cheaper if you look around online.
