SAMs tum is easily upset and he's Ok with Burns but not great, I'm looking to feed him Fish4dogs to see if that helps and firms up his poo but I know P@H sell an alternative. Anyone have an opinion or thought that can help me with this please? Xxx

Alf went through a stage of having softish poo so I also started to use Wainrights salmon and potato, suited him just fine.
They are all on Arden Grange lamb now, this suits Alf too.

I tried allsorts for Roy as he has an easily upset tum, tried the wainwrights and he wasn't great on that so he's now on Simpsons grain free food which suits him better than anything else. His little poops are really solid now (most of the time!)

Yes, could just do with some solid poops, think I'll try the P@h version first and go from there x

We have put Dulcie on Arden grange sensitive ocean fish and potato and things are better so far she has been on burns chicken and brown rice since she has been here Obie's poos are perfect but Dulcie has had a few problems lately so we have changed her , fingers crossed that it works as I don't like to chop and change the vet recommende chappie but I was drowning in the amount of poo if you get my drift

You don't say what flavour Burns - I tried a couple and then Pork & Potato was recommended. We've never looked back. I have looked for a fishy alternative but most have them have protein levels that are too high for hounds. I always use a bit of mixer with the Burns anyway (Natures Menu is the best) as I have to feed over the recommended amount to keep the weight on Gizzi. Good luck with your search.

I've tried chicken and lamb and forthglade mixer or wainwrights.

Pets at Home do their own version of Fish4dogs called Fishmongers they do it in salmon or white fish. Packaging very similar to F4D too. They also do a new Wainwrights grain free food in white fish and veg if you specifically wanted fish. Thinking of trying my two on it actually, mine are on Burns Alert lamb at the moment but lurcher gets colitis so think maybe grain free would help.

Harry had the most sensitive tum ever and I was on the eternal quest for the "right" food over the years! I found burgess salmon n rice and Skinners salmon n rice produced poo that u could pick rather than scoop up x

Higher protein levels in fishy foods are fine, it's the quality of the protein that's important and fish is great protein. Ours are mainly on fishy foods - around 30% protein and are absolutely fine on it.

Sapphy has the most sensitive tummy ever and she can only have grain free fishy foods if I want to actually pick her poo up otherwise think melted chocolate

Thank you so much everyone for your thoughts and help x
I've looked at all the fishy/grain/non grain/potato products I can find. I decided I'd go with a fish and potato based good as Sams tum is ok when I feel him fish and pots.
After lots of mind boggling info I chose Wofcol Salmon and potato.
I'm slowly introducing it but he loves it!
Fingers crossed it helps him and he does well on it!
Thank you all again xxx
