We were contacted today by Manchester Dogs Home regarding a lurcher girl bought into their care as a stray. Sadly when assessed she showed to be slightly food reactive meaning they would not be willing to rehome to the public. They called us and asked if we would be willing to offer a rescue placement. We of course said yes and thanks to the generosity of the members of the facebook page 2 months kenneling and veterinary costs have been donated whilst we bring her into our care and assess her. She was being kenneled with another dog though so may have been reacting to him. As she was eating a member of staff approached her and she growled and air snapped. We are hoping that as a hungry stray this may just be a fear reaction.
