As the weather is getting colder I thought I would take this opportunity to remind everybody that Greyhound Gap sell the Blizzard coats in their online shop. We all know that sight hounds like to be warm. If you are thinking of purchasing one please buy from Gap because it means that not only are you buying a brilliant coat but you are also contributing towards Gap to help them continue their brilliant work. We have a choice of three colours and numerous sizes available. Please click on the link below to view our lovely warm coats. www.greyhoundgap.org.uk/merchandise/online-shop

I have sent you a email about coat sizes as I have three extremely large Black Greyhounds requiring 32" coats which it appears you do not sell. I have in the past purchased three 32" Blizzard Coats from Hersham Rescue Kennels (Wimbledom Greyhound Rescue), but they do not stock the 32" these days. It is a shame as there are lots of bigger Greyhounds being bred in Ireland who will need at least a 32" size Blizzard Coat.

Ted, I have replied to your past messages on previous threads. I can get size 32 but only in black and they would be a special order.

Looks like I will have to get someone to make a 32" Blizzard Coat in red as a special. Trust me to have such a large female Greyhound such as Kelly who weighs in at 38/39 kilos she is heavier than my two large Greyhound boys. Merlin and Mickey-Finn.
I have in the past spoken to one of her carers when Kelly was racing. She said they tried to get Kelly to a proper racing weight, but then Kelly refused to race for them, so in the end they allowed her to have as much as she wanted, then they found Kelly was winning races for them again. Obviously as she did not get what she wanted in food as a pup these days she will eat and pinch the others food if I do not keep a check on her. In fact I feed her seperate to my other three hounds and make sure they have finished their own food before letting Kelly back in the bungalow, not that she minds this anyway as she knows she will be let back in anyway after the others have finished their food.
