Has anyone used it for their dogs, if so did it work. Dizzy needs something to help her joints she struggles now to walk far. We are also considering a stroller for her but I'm not sure she would be happy in one she's very independent.

We tried them with Tansy when she started getting creaky. Didn't actually notice any difference, but by that point, there were so very many things wrong with her that they may not have had a chance.
If you want to try them, I've got half a tub here and no-one to use them on and I'll happily stick them in the post for you (and Dizzy!)

I'm a bit of a sceptic re supplements but a couple of years back I started to give Gracie vetuk's pro treat joint chews which contain various things including green lipped mussel and they made a big difference. They're expensive and twice I've run out and not bought more immediately and even Tony commented both times that she wasn't so good without knowing that she wasn't on them! amazing for a man and then she improved once I started her on them. After Sapphy was ill with impa we just couldn't get off steroids and pain meds as after 5 days without anything she'd go lame on any one of her legs and struggle to walk on 3 so I decided to try her on them too. I don't know if it was a coincidence but a few weeks later I got her off all her meds and she's been off them ever since after months of trying and failing to stop them. I don't run out of them any more! They love them too apart from Maddie who won't touch them, but Maddie's just Maddie www.vetuk.co.uk/vetuk-joint-supplements-protreat-joint-mobility-chews-c-5_4_2017_828/vetuk-protreat-joints-and-mobility-dog-120-chews-p-5647If you use ordinary Green lipped mussel be careful as it can cause an upset tummy initially especially if the dose is high. I believe its one you start lower and build up. Not had a problem with the pro treats though.

If you have no need for them it would be good to try them as some people seem to think they work. I could make a donation to gap for them
