Hi everyone, quick question. What methods do you all use to secure your dog into the car whilst driving? Brandy goes in our boot on her big comfy bed and used to have one of the seatbelt fastener things attached to her harness but has killed it lol! Looking to get another but wondering what everyone else uses x

Seatbelt fastener thing attached to harness in the van or behind a dog guard in the car.

Mayo is in the boot behind a guard, with a lead attached but untethered. Daisy is fastened on the rear seat with a harness and short lead. Daisy gets scared if Mayo retches or coughs - which he does often as he gets travel sick - and climbs through the small gap onto the back seat anyway, so this way is safer. I don't tether Mayo in the boot as he is a real fidget and gets tangled up. Also, in the event of a collision I'm confident he would go to the nearest human. Daisy would try to run off, so she's fastened in.
