For the past two days on the trot Rango has decided to urinate on the floor and walk it around the whole kitchen. It's driving me to despair to come home to it.
He had an hours walk this morning, fed, full kongs of treats.
He was left for four hours.
Yet he gets in a right tizz wozz, (can tell from the dozens of footprints)
I ignore him when I walk through the door and put him outside.
I don't know what to do. I feel like our grey has all the problems going.

Do you leave the radio on? A bit of background noise is good - maybe he doesn't like being shut in the kitchen (if that's what you do) have a read of Lisa's separation anxiety post there are lists if tips in there that do work. Be patient, he will get there, they all have their little blips xxx

He doesn't like the radio that makes him worse unfortunately, when will this end? Or will it be a constant problem for the rest of the time we have him?

Do you have another dog too or just the one? If he's anxious he may do this - did you read the SA post in the advice section? Xxx

He is neutered isn't he? and you're sure he doesn't have an infection? It sometimes happens and it just takes time to work through it. We've had it with some of ours but got there in the end. As Alex has said have you read the SA post?

Our last greyhound started doing having accidents when he was left and it turned out he had a water infection. He was also very restless with it, so it might be worth taking a water sample to the vet if you haven't already. Hope you get to the bottom of this soon.

Blimey how do you even attempt to catch it, his urine was luminous but it's a lot clearer now! He refused to eat or drink when we had to put him in the Kennels for four days last week. Do you reckon that's made an impact as to why he has started weeing?
I have read it, is it just a case of keep battling on?

He was neutered about 2 months ago. I'm pretty sure he hasn't got an infection, it's not pungent and it's clear. Suppose a sample won't hurt. Poor little mite I swear the vets is his second home

Hi. Setting aside ruling out an infection (recommend Tupperware container to catch sample it might well be that the kennels upset his routine and possibly he has issues with previous experience in kennels that you are not aware of and nor can you be. Mine reacted really badly at his one stop at a kennels and hence I never sent him back there again and opted for the more expensive but much more pleasant home boarding. From reading your other posts, he sounds a sensitive soul and one you have worked hard with to resolve issues. Hopefully he'll settle back in to a routine again soon if he hasn't got an infection. Sometimes it is two steps back and one forward, most of us have been there and know that feeling well Let us know how it goes over the next few days.....

I've read a post regarding SA but whether it's the right one or not, where will I find it?
He is a very sensitive dog, he's so happy when he's with you and I wouldn't change him for the world, it's just taking time and I feel sorry for him!
I can only put it down to the kennels upsetting his routine!
On the other hand it is driving me mad

I've just read it,
We've tried DAP and rescue remedies and that doesn't work :/
We have another dog and that doesn't help! It really does feel like 1 step forward and 2 steps back

I really wouldn't let wee bother you. In the grand scheme of things it really doesn't matter - maybe it was the kennel stay that upset him if he's only bee doing it since then. Be patient - he'll settle xxx

Probably like others have said kennels may have upset him.We were warned by Perry's foster mum that he needed to toilet straight after feeding, and tried to stick to Lisa's advice on reguallry toiletting. But even so he would sometimes suprise us by weeing inside and acting all nonch about it - patience is a wonderful thing!Cath.
