I have just read this thread as Nell has wet a few times during this last week. She is only doing it during the day when she is asleep. She has been drinking loads more water due to the heat and doesn't know she is doing it bless her. Is this spay incontinence? She will be eleven in September x Aw bless her It might be Ann......I think you can only really know through having a urine sample checked (to rule out infection or other problems) but urinating while very relaxed is usual with spay incontinence. My Katy who is 'only' seven has just been diagnosed, we've started her on Incurin. My vet said it is quite common amongst spayed bitches of certain breeds (mostly larger dogs) with very varying levels of how much and how frequently they lose control of their bladder.

Brandy has been on corn silk tablets now since a couple of days after this post and I'm pleased to say it has eased the problem ALOT! We have only had a couple of accidents in that time rather than a couple a day. I can't recommend them highly enough x

I had Poppy on incurin for quite a few years for leakage problems that caused her so much soreness due to the urine burning her skin in the fold of her vulva. She even had a vulvoplasty op to try and lessen the fold.
A friend mentioned a herbal product called Leaks no more, and she said it had worked for her dog. I was very sceptical, but wanted to give it a go as I didn't like Poppy being on the incurin. I think the extra oestrogen she was getting, although synthetic did change her mood and behaviour.
All I can say is that Leaks no More worked. I went from having a quiet, disinterested girl, who just walked along behind me on walks, back to a fun loving little minx quite quickly after stopping the incurin. The difference was remarkable and evident to the people I regularly walked with.
I used the leaks no more as directed for 2 bottles worth, then just tailed it off and she hasn't had any for so long now I can't remember when I actually stopped it. It could be as long as 12 months ago.
I would recommend this to anyone, as it did work for Poppy, and I'm sorry it took until she was nearly 7 for me to find out about it
