Our boy Levi is at the vets tomorrow for xrays. He has weight loss and recently developed - foot dragging and knuckling on his right side. Otherwise happy and his usual self.
Obviously worried but the 2 might not be related. Hoping someone might have some more optimistic ideas than our current thoughts.

Thanks. Sadly blood tests and xrays all came back normal. Reacted badly to the anaesthetic - had a terrible night with him. On steroids and tramadol now. Developed vet phobia now so will be avoiding it where possible.

Vet suggested an MRI? it sounds neurological, maybe disc which I don't think would show up on x ray. Sorry hr reacted badly to the GA, some do.

You might also look at a McTimoney chiropractor - sorted put Rio's knuckling over last year.

I agree with Nettie and Vicky, I use McTimoney's all the time as routine maintenance and they sorted our my Bridge girl when discs in her neck ruptured and she was knuckling (a dn at one time paralysed in her right front leg  ) Good luck with him, at least the xrays were clear  Julie |

Sadly Levi went downhill and was pts at the weekend. Lost without my shadow.
