In case anyone is interested ... I'm organising a weekend of Clicker Training and TTouch taught by Sarah Fisher and Marie Miller, it's under the heading of Sarah's Cool2BKind.
It's on 5&6th July 2014 and at Woodrush Rugby Club,Icknield Street, Bham, B38 0EL which is close to Junctions 2 and 3 of the M42 (in between and I'll provide directions and you can camp there by arrangement
The weekend covers the link between a dog's posture and its' behaviour.
Visual Observations, Clicker Training including use of the clicker to modify behaviour.
Tellington TTouch bodywork and groundwork to reduce stress, improve focus, improve self-confidence and self-control which helps dogs overcome a variety of problems including separation anxiety, noise sensitivty, reactive behaviour towards people and dogs, over excitability etc etc.
Use of equipment including harnesses, long lines, body-wraps, T-shirts, Thundershirts, calming bands and many more.
This course isn't suitable for dogs with aggression issued with people and other dogs but we do have Handler -only places so come and learn how to help your dog.
There are 12 Handler and dog places (filling fast) and 12 Handler-only places - all participants will have extensive involvement in the Workshop. You will be paired two people and one dog to practise observational skills, TTouch bodywork and Groundwork with instruction and guidance from Marie and Sarah. Spectators are also welcome though they will have no hands-on during the Workshop.
Cost £175 per Participant. Spectators £50 both days, £35 one day. For a booking form or more info please email Julie on ttouchgreyhound@aol.com
