Got the fright of my life when lolli mounted harry and was quite agressive!!!!god love him he was a bit stunned (and doddery) and I was shocked! She has been been with us 16 mths and never done this before neither did my previous bitch. Is this likely to be a one off He is gettin on now and a bit worried that she is thinking of bullying him? Shebis spayed.

My spayed bitch mounted and humped my boy once. He just looked shocked and carried on with life and it never caused any issue. I wouldn't worry unless either dog seems upset or like its causing a fight but I'm sure someone more experienced will be along soon.

Our previous bitch used to mount any dog if she could get away with it. She was a fairly submissive dog but wanted to be dominant if she could get away with it! She was speyed, and really good-natured with other dogs, but if they didn't object she would mount them. I assumed it was about dominance. She didn't try it on with dominant dogs.
