Wondering if anyone can give me some advice please!
i have noticed over the last few days that if I tickle brandy on the top of her spine she 'itches' the air with her leg. I had to pop into the vets today and mentioned it to her and she checked her over and said it was nothing to worry about. However it has only just started and I'm concerned it could be something else. Does anyone have experience of anything similar? She isn't in pain and is eating, drinking and exercising normally xx

Moose does that when I tickle his sensitive spot. He looks like he's trying to kick start a motorbike Nothing to worry about x

I think most dogs do it when you get the right spot. Bod can get a bit ahem *excited* despite being done It's quite cute!

I've noticed most dogs like to have their back scratched especially towards their tail - I suppose it's a bit they can't easily get to themselves. Monty, my bridge collie x, used to do the motorbike kick start too!

Nikki, both mine have their ticklish itchy spots, in fact Skye the staffie goes outside and rubs herself up and down the garden wall of a raised border just like bears do, even my cat goes silly if you rub a certain place on his back and I have warned my daughter that if he gets carried away he is likely to spray her.x

I wonder if its a sign that she's really relaxing now and can let go? Its surprising how long it takes and you don't realise until you look back and see the little changes over the months and even years x

My OH calls it the "hound activation button"!
Ginny has one all the time but Jackson only rarely. Nothin to worry about, enjoy her looking silly! Does she pull a funny face whilst doing it too?
