As some of you may know my Whippety Dilly has a blocked salivery gland. This means she has a fluid filled pouch under her chin. I'm finding I can't do her Hound collar up tightly enough as when doing it up and undoing it the pouch under her chin is getting in the way. I don't like martingales for her as the brass work is too big and heavy for her so I'm wondering about a harness but have no idea what sort to consider other than padded, She is only small , doesn't pull but will sometimes dig her heels in and refuse to move , particularly when I'm picking up poo that one of the others have done , she won't go near it if I try to gently pull her the collar starts to work its way over her head. When walking she tends to walk slightly behind me. Any ideas would be appreciated , thank you.

I agree with Alex, I'm sure the dog games ones will be perfect. 2 of ours are always walked in them and the other 2 can be reactive so have the ruffwear ones but I don't think you need to spend that much as she walks ok. I'm sure she'll be much better with a harness.

I've just had a look. I found a lovely fleece padded one in girly pink which matches her lead and coat. ( I have to have one girly girl lol) just going to check her size and will order her one on pay day ( Friday). I thought the price was very reasonable and expected to pay more. I'd never heard of dog games. Thank you.

And our 3 greyhound girls all take a size 5. Bod had a 3 but it was too tight. I'm lusting over the pink/lilac camo ones but am restraining myself as the ones they've got are fine The reflective ones are good, they've got sort of silvery grey wide stitches on them which really light up if light shines on them when its dark.

We use a big padded one with our dog, because he's just too strong to walk comfortably on a collar; it would be digging into his neck and I also like the fact there is no way he could ever slip out of his harness if he had a freak out and went bonkers. We got ours from dogstrust for about £25, and looking at the dog games website that is the type we have. I absolutely love it, comfy for him and his little bald tummy, and washes really well (I do it by hand, but they can probably go in the machine). Ted is, we think, a grey x staffie and he wears a size 5.
