Am thinking of buying new dog beds and remember people singing the praises of zippy beds. They do look nice and comfortable.
I have the plastic beds at present with quilts in but have noticed the backs of them are damaging my walls.
Would people let me know if they have zippy beds, how they last and wash. Also a bit confused about what sizes would be best. Biggest dog I have is a greyhound/german shepherd so need to make sure he fits in. To be honest most of them use the settee but Cesar and Wilf tend to use the beds from time to time.

have 2 zippy beds and they are one of the best beds I've had. Wash well, dont smell and after a year the cushion hasn't flattened. I think ours are xl and xxl, the xxl fits Ringo comfortable hes around 31" ish neck to tail but really broad n butch . Someone shredded an inner piece when I was washing the covers and the company said they will replace for cost of postage, great service.

Tracey, I bought five of the basic waterproof beds in July 2012, and they really are still like new. I think I have only hosed them down once, a weekly wipe with a damp cloth cleans and freshens them up nicely. All of mine were the XL size and Oafy who is huge can fit comfortable into one. Zippy have an ebay account and sell them on there cheaper. I also got a further discount for "bulk buying" Maryxx

I have zippy my dogs love them! I have the large for mine and the big greyhounds fit in them fine. Had them about 3 years now and really are still as good as new. I am a sod though for washing them in the washing machine and drying them in the dryer lol so the waterproofing has now come off them but as they are only used in the house and regularly washed its no myther. I need to get TWO repaired though because a certain little black greyhound Madam has ripped the zips chewing them and chewed up the inners!

I have been looking at these beds but am uncertain of which type to get . Duke is a big lad 34" in coats and a heavier set chap too. I like the idea of the corner beds / sofas as he likes to curl up, but not certain if they are big enough. Help please you clever hounders !! Think he deserves a treat after being ill Xxx

My greyhound Kevin is also 34inches from shoulder to base of tail. He has an XL waterproof zippy bed and he can easily stretch out in it comfortably. I put a single duvet and vet bed in there too for snuggling up.
