Dreadful start to the day as heard dogs really unsettled so came down to find Harry On the floor with what I initially thought was a stroke . Covered him with a blanket whilst cleaning up and tryong to decide what was the best thing to do and was on verge of ringing emergency vet when tried to see if he could get up and he did although a bit wobbly. I know dogs can have a fit out of the blue and it never happen again and will be contacting vet, but he is around 11 now? Anyone any experience of this?

Yes get him checked Helen.. it may be a drop fit or a vestibular attack.. which is common in the oldies, or it may be something to do with his heart. Hopefully its a minor blip..let us know how he gets on.

So sorry this has happened to Harry Helen I hope he has been ok since, and the vet check was ok Kobi has small epileptic seizures every once and a while, and he also faints occasionally, it is very frightening to see so I know how worried you must be

Talked to the vets and they were happy for us to monitor him and review if it happens again. Looking at internet it looks like he has had a grand mal type of seizure, very frightening but he seems OK today . Thanks for the good thoughts x.
