If anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it. Yesterday duke was at my sisters. When she came home it became apparent that one of the gang had had a ripping good time with a plastic father xmas. Duke had a very upset stomach but she thought that this was due to some bread he had helped himself to. Due to this I just fed him mash last night and he was fine. I heard a funny noise half an hr ago and ran down stairs to find him puking red plastic and bile up. He seems fine in himself and as he has not brought up the mash so it seems he has digested that. He has been for his normal morning poop ( sorry no other way to say it !) and has eaten normally. Do I leave him be or should I get him to the vet ? There seems to be nothing abnormal in his poop. If one of my old terriers had done the same thing I would just watch them today but knowing how delicate greyhound tummies are I just thought I better ask. I would have rung the vets but they don't open until 9

I'm like you ... as long as they're peeing and pooing OK and not trying to vomit or poo and straining but nothings happening then I'd just keep a close eye on him tho I did rush Lucy to the emergency vet the other weekend cos she began to do stretches like play bows and they can be a sign of tummy ache but she was fine You can just run it past your vets tho to be sure Hope he's ok- sounds like he had quite a varied diet at your sisters LOL J X

That's good news-it's always an anxious wait when they've eaten something they shouldn't

Hope Duke's ok
Slightly worried that eating Santa might put him on the naughty list
