Well no change and she is still vomiting despite the anti emetics and coming off morphine. They are now saying she might need endoscopy too which is horrible. I was a bit nonplussed though as they have been trying to tempt her with kibble and wet food- as I pointed out even when she is well she turns her nose up at that! I am going in tomorrow afternoon with some boiled chicken and am going to try hand feeding her. She is very sensitive and sometimes if I go away she won't eat so I'm hoping some cuddles and she might take the odd mouthful. The kids area going to be so upset as they thought she would becoming home today. Hopefully better news tomorrow.

Hopefully she might eat something more tempting from you, have to say mine would have done the same if fronted with a bit of wet kibble when poorly. Does she like scrambled egg with the chicken? More hugs for you and thoughts for Molly ofcourse

Sorry to hear Molly isn't eating Jane - our Dickie has been the same when he has had to stay in hospital and our vet always discharges him asap to get him home and eating. Hoping the hand fed chicken does the trick Sending continued good thoughts for Molly and all of you waiting for her to come home

Just been to see her and was pretty horrified by how much weight she has lost- now down to 22kgs. Also they seemed to have shaved off half her fur and she looked terrible. BUT much to everyone's amazement I opened my packet of chicken and she scoffed it down in about three mouthfuls! The vet was so surprised. She has diarrhoea still but seems to have stopped vomiting plus she saw a Pekingese in all it's fluffy glory and she mustered a bit of a growl. The vet thinks that if she eats again tomorrow when we go in that she might even come home tomorrow night. I am worried about getting my hopes up too much but everything is crossed that tomorrow night she will be snoozing on my bed cuddling her squeaky pheasant.

Not surprised she's got dire rear, just the upset of being in the vets can do that without the op. I'd be more surprised if my lot were eating and pooing anything like normally! Hope she can come home tomorrow
