Oh blimey - at least Petplan are helping (how dreadful to have your bank account frozen any time but when you really need money ... ) All crossed that the mass is benign and she can come home as soon as possible where you can spoil her and look at all her options ... many recover from cancers and lead a good long life .. mine have  Sending you hugs too Julie x |

No she isn't home yet. The vet rang today and said she won't eat and is vomiting but he thought that this was linked to the morphine they've been giving her post operatively. If she can eat a few bites and keep it down then she might come home tomorrow. I had a long chat with the surgeon yesterday as to whether he thought the mass in her spleen was malignant or not but he said he wouldn't comment on that as he had seen masses that seemed benign and turned out not to be and vice versa. I think we may have a long road ahead but I'm hopeful now that she has a chance and we will do everything we can to make the most of that chance.
