Hedgehog advice

Zakkaman managed to chomp on enough hedgehog to eat a whole load of spines as I came down to a pile of them this morning in a pile of sick.

I am now totally stressed thinking that those pointy little buggers are now piercing their way through his stomach and intestines as I type.

Is there anyone who has had experience of something like this and can tell me if his stomach acid will break the spines down or is it a trip to the emergency vet?
