I've been stalking Binks since she went to her forever home, and I thought you'd like to know how she's getting on. Su sent me a pic of her on the first night and she was happily roaching on Rik's favourite bed She's been a star from day one and Su said it's like she's been there forever She called her 'a delightful little character', which I think sums Binks up really well. She's off on her first caravan holiday in a couple of weeks. She's going to love it Another Greyhound Gap homing success

Binks is one fantastic girlie!, we have just got back from Norfolk, we went to Hunstanton and then to Cromer, - 4 go off in a Caravan - Binks was a little unsettled at first and wasn't too sure about the caravan but as per usual it didn't take her too long to work it all out and settle. Rik is very wedded to his side of the caravan bed and there were a number of times in the first few nights where we were awoken by him telling tales because Binks was on his side!- and she always looks so innocent - but as usual Binks got her way and chose whichever side she wanted when ever she wanted it! she saw the sea and went for a paddle, she is a cool dude and a cheeky madam. It does genuinely feel like she has been here forever and whilst, as ever, she can never replace our little lost lady she certainly is a very worthy successor, she is fun and funny and full of the joys of living .... and squeaking whichever toy she can get hold of, Rik is more than happy to be the R of R and B.
I have a good pic of the hounds in the car and caravan which I will try to work out how to post.
thanks again Helen, you did a fantastic job in looking after her and discovering the real Stinky Binks, I know how hard it was to see her go so thanks for that too much admiration for all that you guys do xx

peggy: Also a brand new greyhound owner, I love her already. It's hard to believe she is 4 years old, I have to keep reminding myself she was in a kennel and not a home. She is a beaut, but goes skits around food, I suppose it was the excieting time of day x
