Last night Solly had his tea & 10 mins later brought it all back up. He was cool & calm when fed & it wasn't hot or stuffy. I didn't give him anything else, he had his water & one treat B4 he went to bed. This morning we went out early, weather was cool. About 40 mins after we got home they had their brekkie. Again he brought it all back up. This not like him at all. Should I just give him small portions of say boiled fish, rice or pasta Or perhaps starve him.

Pat I would just starve him for today and only offer water. Then tomorrow give him the fish/rice/ pasta/ chicken etc Its not uncommon for dogs to have tummy upsets like humans. Is his stomach making loud gurgly noises? Herbie has had episodes of this and usually has a grumbly tum to go with it.. he often eats grass when he feels like this too. But this weather is having similar effects on dogs.. the heat is just too much sometimes and we have had it for so long now it can start to wear the dogs down despite all our precautions. When you do offer food again perhaps offer only half portions and see how he goes. If Solly starts with 'dire rear'.. though or starts pacing the room, or salivating, then obviously I would get him checked by a vet. Hope he is over it tomorrow.

Thanks for that. His tum has been silent, no rumbles & as for eating grass, he does that anyway. No "dire rear" , infact late last night we went for quick walk, & seeing as he was empty, he did the BIGGEST dump ever & has had a dump this morning.

I would starve him and go with easier to digest foods tomorrow. Hope he's better tomorrow

Solly has been fine & eaten some fish earlier this morning. Having said that this morning Pacey's guts are rumbling, but normal dump when he went out. Didn't want any fish this morning, so looks like his turn to starve today . Funny how it seems to be affecting them now it's getting cooler.
