Can anyone recommend a good harness / attachment for Solo to keep him safely secured in the back of the car? It's been praying on my mind what would happen if he was in the car and we had an accident, and I want to keep him safe. I'd like him to still be able to stand and turn around though so he's comfortable.
Any thoughts / experience?

You could try a Clix harness. I've used them for various breeds of dogs. You can either click them into the seat belt fitting, or loop them around the seatbelt, which gives a little more flexibility.

We used a Bergan - it is strong and fairly soft - but the attachment lead is quite short. You have to get your greyhound to lie down to attach it. We fastened it to the baby seat anchor.

Daisy always manages to get herself tangled up in the seatbelts if I fasten her on the back seat. I've started to attach her harness and lead via one of the headrests and it works for us. You could possibly try something like this harness system It's not something I've used myself, but I'd certainly be happy to give it a go. Whatever you do, make sure any harness you use is designed for use as a car harness - normal ones aren't tested to withstand the sorts of pressures experienced in emergency braking. Moira x
