Rea is a champion poo eater, in fact if there was a class at Crufts she would bring the trophy home. She will whip round to eat her own, pounce on anything the others produce, and will find any small (or large) tasty pile whilst in the woods, and is a dab hand at sieving it through a breezy muzzle. What came out the other end got so bad that despite having starved her, fed her on mashed potato and boiled white fish, changed her kibble to Fish4Dogs white fish and potato, the only way we could put an end to the pools (and I do mean pools)of diarrhea she produced was to put her on a course of gut-specific AB's. Even then I knew that if we didn't find a way to stop her we would be back again before long, so I bit the bullet and ordered two of these from America. Cost me a small fortune at the post office when they arrived , and to be honest I wasn't impressed with the actual muzzle as it seems rather crude and chunky to me. Got round that be ordering a couple of box muzzles from Midland Greyhound.co.uk could kick myself for not thinking about that sooner. Anyway one of the muzzles from America was damaged so I contacted the company, sending them photos of the damaged muzzle and the woman offered to replace it, so I asked from more stool guards instead With the aid of a metal skewer that I heated to make holes where necessary I have attached a stool guard to a box muzzle, and Rea now has her "Hannibal Lecter" muzzle on before stepping outside. As you might be able to tell from the last image she isn't overly impressed, but I am pleased to say that her internal workings are working much better than they were, and thankfully the pools or porridge have now become much more pick-up-able than they were. I haven't plucked up the courage to swap her back onto Burgess Supadog kibble as yet, but may be trying it soon. I have also started her on a daily dose of Yumpro BioActive in the hope that it keeps her digestive system in order.

Kyka loved burgess supadog poo, I stopped buying it and she stopped eating poo. Some foods must leave an attractive ingredient in there even after moving through the whole digestive system. Arden grange lamb and rice is my choice of dog food for firm poo that they don't eat. )I hope you find something that suits Andy.

There has got to be a golden opportunity for a rhyme here hasn't there? Mr Roo with a hound wot eats poo, Isn't it vile the things that they do, But look on the bright side, And don't be too sad, They could then try to kiss you, Now, that would be bad. NO ? Oh well I tried.

I bought the zinc tablets from the health food shop, only needed one tub. My vet also suggested a small amount of raw mince run under the hot tap and added to her food would help with the poo eating but I tried the zinc instead. Hope something works for you.

Nancy's a poo muncher. Layton regards vomit as the chance to relive breakfast so basically they're a right disgusting pair.

I read this Jackie and thought this was the answer as mine are on Burgess Greyhound and Lurcher, but then realised Roy also likes Delta's poo's and she's on the lowfat wainwrights wetfood He obviously aint fussy what he eats

Dexter is obsessed with Den's poo. But leaves Dottie's. Pineapple didn't help. Interestingly Badger (previous foster) would also eat Dennis's poo and no others. I asked the vet when Den had his vaccs if he may have something wrong/different which makes his poo more 'interesting' -in the absence of other symptoms he decided not. We too have a race to get there first, poor Den is getting paranoid about all the interest in his business
