Thanks everyone - Jet is sleeping at the moment He hasn't been sick again since this morning and is drinking and keeping it down. I am keeping a very close eye on him - if he worsens again I will be on to the vet immediately.

Sorry to hear he's still poorly ... my friend's lurcher was hospitalised cos the vets were worried she'd dehydrate as she was so sick and had dire rear ... apologies if you know this but .. to check he's not dehydrated pinch a piece of skin up and let it go .. it should fall back into plae immediately .. if it stays sticking up he needs to see a vet asap and if it goes back very slowly I'd take him as he could be getting dangerously dehydrated which could mean serious kidney problems  Hope he's picking up J x |

It's now over 24 hours since Jet was last sick - he has eaten a small amount of chicken and some white fish. He is still not quite back to his usual bouncy self and looks horribly thin: he still has dire rear, but I am beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you all so much for your kind messages, it really helps. Kay
