Hello everyone. I've just noticed Trixie is shedding quite a bit. Well quite a bit for a greyhound so not heaps. I want to give her a good brush so a simple question really what kind of brush do you use on your greys ? I'm a little baffled by all the different types and I wouldn't want to use something that would be rough on her skin.

I'm a rubber mit fan here too (or was when I had a smooth-coated dog )

I find the Zoom Groom amazing Moira x That just reminded me I used to have one of those for our cats and worked a treat. The furminater is a little too too pricey for us at the moment. I think I might go with the grooming mit always wanted to try one of those and she's only shedding slighty so sounds ideal - thanks

Don't buy a Furminator from a pet shop. I bought one on ebay (new) for about 8 quid a couple of years ago.

ZoomGroom for me - about £7 from the vets, have seen them in some pet shops too.
Wendy was starting to look like an old jumper when she lost the last bit of winter fluff earlier this year :-( but the Zoom was brilliant and she enjoyed it. Plus it keeps all the fluff together rather than blowing back at you :-)
Ronnie enjoyed it so much he decided to eat it - fortunately I caught him in time so no damage done to hound or Zoom Groom....

Can I just add that I use a rubber mitt and then finish off with a microfibre cloth (E-Cloth) which used either dry or slightly damp takes off any remaining debris and gives a lovely shine.
