Hello My Aunties, Bonnie here, my Mum's worried 'cause I'm losing my fur," the usual places" she says, on my neck, chest, inside of my legs and last but not least, bum. I'm quite healthy, running around with Shelly playing, and I'm eating very well, my eyes are bright, my poo's ok and I'm weeing ok, it's just my fur it's very sparse in those particular spots. My Mum said she's read on here about Evening Primrose Oil, and she's going to get some, but what has 'confussed' her is can she get the ordinary one from the chemist that you 'humaans' take or has it to be the dog one, she also knows that Auntie Lisa said to take two twice a day, can you help her please, then she'll stop worrying about me, she said I'm going to end up like old Uncle Rustic, he had a big bare bum ;D

Viacutan is good, I get it from VetsUK, I use the pump version just a couple of squirts once a day in food

coconut oil is great for fur (and a zillion other things) you can massage it in and also feed them a dollop.

I buy cheap evening primrose from either Wilko or Aldi and give one capsule 3 times a day with food. However, what fur she has is nice and glossy now, but it is still rather sparse in places. I was very concerned when she lost so much fur, but the vet wasn't concerned, and then I met other greys in a similar state of baldiness - so I've stopped worrying.
