I have had my greyhound Willow, for about 4 months now and she settled in beautifully. Unfortunately about 2 weeks ago she started peeing in the front room, even after a walk. I will take her outside and stand with her, i have even tried leaving outside for about 10 mins (not in the rain) but she just seems to have stopped doing it outside. Does anyone have any advice or help they can offer, as i am running out of clean carpet.

Is she not weeing at all on walks, or in the garden? It could be anxiety related but have you checked with your vet she doesn't have a urinary infection?

Um some threqads on here about this but quick list Check you're cleaning up with 'proper' stuff - anything with ammonia will encourage them to amrkthe same place. Is she out for long enough? I'd do a good hour morning and night till she begins to settle and be clean then you can reduce the walks a bit. Is she worried/frightened? may be take her somewhere quiet and other dog free so she can relax and will take time to toilet .. Find a greyhound friend to walk with to encourage her to be brave Welcome to Gap Julie x

I had a very similar problem with Roxy. The first thing I'd say is get her checked at the vet, take a mid flow (not first thing in the morning) sample with you. Even if an infection isn't detected the problem may still be medical. Roxy has issues with bladder control which have been completely sorted with Propalin, her issue was that she couldn't 'feel' when she needed a wee.
It took us months to get to this diagnosis so hope your girl can be sorted quickly.
It may be anxiety and all sorts of other things but I'd have the vet look at her first.

Completely agree with all of the above. My bitch suddenly started peeing a few years ago too. She was prescribed incurin and this cured the problem. I had a similar problem with my dogs marking (only when we were out), which was not medical and proved impossible to solve. Someone suggested putting them in crates. This worked instantly . Good luck and Welcome Maryx
