Anybody know about anything that helps with this? Lucky is on Norocarp and Glucosamine. Just wondering if there's anything else that might help?

Green lipped mussel is supposed to be good but haven't tried it myself.

Holly my 13 year old xbreed has Glucosamine, a joint aid chew, cod liver oil and wears a bioflow collar.
Green lipped mussell and Yumove have also been tried by some folks I know with success, but Yumove made no difference to Holly.

Oh yes, forgot the bioflow collar, worked wonderfully for my old boy and also the cat.
If its very severe it is also worth talking to your vet about cartrophen injections which are given one a week for 4 weeks and then a top up when necessary - had fabulous results with it when my old boy went completely off his legs and I thought we'd reached the end of the road, within 4 weeks he was able to jump into the back of the car without help. It doesn't work for all dogs but isn't an expensive treatment and I think worth trying.

Thanks. The vet mentioned those injections, but said they don't work for everyone and he didn't want to give them to her because he said she was so afraid of needles!
Anyone else had any success or lack of success with those injections? How much did they cost? How long did they last for?
Cheers

I too would suggest a bio flow collar - used one on my old dog and I'm sure it helped, and have lent it to a friends elderly arthritic greyhound and she swore by it.
