I have 2 young lurchers which I know I need to get insured. Ages ago I had a dog insured with m & s but I wasnt very impressed with them and they became very expensive.
I have been looking at 2 insurances that dont have an age limit on them and seem to be in my price range. one is Green Insurance and the other is Argos. They seem to offer what I need, has any one had any dealings with any of them?

I have any experience with either but I would make sure whatever you do with two you g lurchers is to get "cover for life". I will ONLY use Pet Plan and have looked at other policies which although look cheap now will rise considerably as the dog gets older. Per Plan is expensive from the off but in my experience they do not hike up premiums like some other high street policies. I only cancelled my eldest grey's policy a year or so ago because she got to an age (and condition) where I felt I would not put her through any invasive procedures that I could not afford. She is 13 and a half now. I pay £27 a month for Kevin my 4 year old greyhound (pedigree so premiums more expensive).

I use Animal Friends for 2 of my Greys (Niamh 4 & Marley 3), "life cover" £10,000 vets fee's @ £25.34/ month each. My new youngster (Luca 18 months) is insured through Pets at Home, "life cover" £9000 vets fee's @ 28.36/month.

Same as Sian, all mine are with Petplan after swapping and changing from companies who gave great cover at first for a reasonable premium then doubled and trebled once they had got you as a customer. I am more than pleased with them, they have paid out promptly for all my dogs and we are having a real run atm with them all They aren't the cheapest but don't seem to put the premium up by huge amounts every year.
