memory foam bed

Hi, can anyone recommend anywhere i can get a good bed for me lad? I would like to get him a memory foam one. Thanks for any replies

I got a good one from Pets at Home for about £25 but it was in the sale in January and I think they're back to full price now ... one thing tho' ... do put a waterproof cover on it cos if they get wet they're ruined I put a waterproof cover on the memory foam bit then put the fleecy cover over the top so I just wash that ... Charlie (age about 9) loves it

I got a memory foam mattress topper from Freecycle - makes a fantastic bed for Brooke . Argos did have them on offer a few months ago - not sure if they still do.

Is it a big flat one you want? I got a big piece off ebay for £15 and cut the corners off to make a great base for Gracie's basket. It's much thicker than all the memory foam beds I've seen and a great buy. Only thing was it had quite a chemical smell, which some memory foam does so I left it outside for a few days for it to wear off and it's fine now (obviously that was a few wks ago before the deluge started )

I know some people have bought memory foam human bed toppers, cut them to size and made/bought or used a quilt cover and got a cheaper better bed than an actual dog one. The more affordable dog ones aren't very thick. They've got various toppers etc in their ebay shop.

It's great for Gracie - tripod- as it's stable for her to hop onto and she seems to find it very comfortable.

On a different note, rather than start a new thread i'l ask on here, could you recommend a good collar for my 4 year old grey? I've had a look around the net, and its hard to tell from a picture what's suitable ect..
