Song didn't want her dinner Thursday night, whiuch is unusual but she seemed fine, so I just took it up and threw it. She seemed ok Friday and ate her dinner.
This morning her poos were like water and she has asked to go out much more than usual andf each time done a runny poo, although not much is coming out now.
I am thinking this might be because I gave her a Pedigree joint chew on Thursday and another yesterday. I'm not giving her any more.
Any suggestions to settle her tummy. Could she have Kaolin and if yes what dose (she weighs 31kg)?

You should fast her for 24 hours, giving only boiled, cooled water. Then try her on something bland like chicken and rice (not reheated rice as that is a source of tummy upsets in itself). A vet once told me to also, not give biscuits as the first food, yet it's probably what we humans would eat ourselves.

Thanks for that info. Afraid I have given her dry food tonight and so far she's ok. She usually has a small biscuit before she settles down for the night, but I won't give her that.

By strange coincidence we have the same bad situation with our dog Paddy He's had quite a few watery poos today and now I don't think he's got anything left I gave him some cooked potato and plain fish mashed up for his tea (read that advice on another thread) but I think this was a bad idea cos he's just gone out circling in the garden for another go Looks like he'll need to fast for 24 hrs. Don't really know what could have caused it but other than his frequent trips outside, he seems fine. Any other suggestions would be gratefully received. Jo x

Fasting has worked fir MAK several times- we follow up with rice and chicken, then he's usually fine. combined with cuddles of course ! Best of luck xxxx

jodav, Hope Paddy is ok soon.
nataliesian, Thanks for the advice.
Well Soing had me up almost every hour during the night. Each time she would pace around outside and then squat. All that came out was wind and about two tablespoons of watery poo.
She's not had anything to eat and I will keep it that way for today. She seems fine in herself, so think it is just an upset stomach. If she's no better Tuesday I will go to the vets with her.

Sorry to hear that Song had a bad night, Paddy was up once at about 4 o'clock, tipping down with rain as well He's fasting today too but he can't afford to lose too much weight so it might be a trip to the vet if no improvement. What a pair they are! to Song. Jo x

Very windy and wet here through the night and now, so definitely not what I wanted to be doing through the night.
Hope Paddy improves today. Song sends hugs to him (((Paddy))).
