UNDER ASSESSMENT 18mnths who has got so far under my skin. He is terrified and it took me a while to get him out of his kennel as he was backing off growling he is so scared. Finally gained his trust and he let me lead him up. Its obvious that this boy has never known a kind hand

This lad breaks my heart He reminds me so much of Winston, we can only hope that his life will also change for the better and he will find a loving home.

What a transformation in just 24hrs. The pound dropped Cade off for us and yesterday I went to check on him. He was over the moon to see me! I think having visited him a couple of times in the pound and waffling on about only so many more big sleeps and no more hurt all clicked into place yesterday when I rolled in asking whereees my boy! He knew he was safe and was so glad of some consistancy! Just look at him now! He has had his first assessment and walks beautifully on the lead, he seems great with other dogs and although still shy dont think it will be long before he comes out of himself. He met the cat and showed a little curiosity but when he shoved his nose right up her backside got a smack for his effort and retreated to think about it. He would probably be workable in the right experienced hands but do think we need to monitor it and re test in a week or three once his confidence has grown more!

Aww Lisa, Just looking at those first pics he looks so like my Sonia when we first picked her up, those terrified eyes. To see her now 5 months on she's a different dog, stunning black snowflake girly, and it's been fabulous watching her grow into herself, settle down and make dog friends where we live. It's hard to imagine what they go through on their way to us, but every baby step they take towards a loving future is such a milestone. Bless you for giving Cade your heart to hold on to and leading the way back to love for him:-*

What a gorgeous boy, so pleased that he has responded so quickly, it has made my day to see the improvement in him already. I hope he is cat workable & it helps him find a new home very soon.

Walked him at the kennel today. Have to say he was a lovely dog to walk. Didn't pull on the lead and was easy going enjoying his walk. Will make someone very happy.
