Ben is a 10 years old lab sized crossbreed. We have been advised he is very overweight and does get restless in the car but he needs to come into our care urgently.
He is neutered but probably not vaccinated or chipped. He hasn't been out much recently so will more than likely be a tad overwhelmed.
We have liability insurance but cover is invalid if children or other animals are in the vehicle so this must not happen please.
Complete journey is Liverpool, Merseyside L9 to Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire CV37
Route M62, M6, M42, M40 taking approx 2.5 hours.
If you can help transport him could you please state where you can meet up either side of your journey.
For drivers safety we ask that you have a sturdy dog guard or have use of a large crate for this run. Great care to be taken when placing in and out of vehicle. Wouldn't be surprised if you need to be able to lift him. Also when handing between individuals incase he manages to break free.
It's always wise to notify your own motor insurers you are transporting for rescue on a voluntary basis. There will be no charge for this note on your policy. You are then covered for any possible incidents.
If anyone can help please PM me with your e-mail address.

I can do from Lymm Services on the M6 to the A500 (Stoke).
I can do this any day but Saturday morning (taking Obi to the vets) and Tuesday morning.
