Anyone for fundraising at Ikea?

Was just going to sound folk out before trying to book a date as I don't want to book and have no volunteers

I've noticed that another rescue is collecting outside their local Ikea and wondered whether anyone would be interested in a collection outside Ikea in Nottingham? For those of you who have never tried the Ikea experience I can't tell you how hideously busy Ikea is especially on a weekend , and I was thinking of asking for a Saturday and Sunday collection. I don't yet know if it is possible but don't want to ring unless I know people will be interested.

Failing that, there is a Pets at Home opposite Ikea (there is a retail park there), and although not as big a money earner, we might be able to pick up some of the Ikea crowd

Ikea is out The meanies won't allow us to collect there as they only support a couple of charities (apparently).

The Pets at Home are also being a pain as won't arrange over the phone so this is pending

You know, I wrote to two branches of IKEA a few weeks ago, and neither has even bothered answering my letter!

I didn't hold out much hope anyway, but all the same that's just awful customer service!
