I hope not dumped because of lump on neck? so sad,she looks sweet and deserves better. same here, my lady had a lump on her neck, vet checked it out, and said old age will get her first, he was right, lady had this lump for over 5 years, lived till she was 18, back legs went, i do hope something can be done for, such a sweetie, so sad,

She has been to the vet and has a blocked saliva gland . It needs removing and a couple of teeth out I believe . Sighthound Welfare Trust are going to help out with her vet bills. She has rabbit mange (?) and arthritic back legs, poor girl. It is likely she was dumped by travellers but there is evidence of a spay scar or c section, so not sure. Firstly she needs feeding up as she is underweight. Would someone abandon her like that? I can answer that myself in one word - Lady as Lisa mentioned .

Bless her heres hoping it all goes well for this little lady and yes Wendy it always happens. Chances are at some point she has been a much loved pet and is a missing dog. Is she definatly a whippet and what area was she found in ?? Only asking as there was a saluki type lurcher missing a big long thread on DP and she put me in mind of that dog it was elderly aswell

;DShe was wearing a pink collar with "diamonds" on it, so someone loved her some when . She's doing well though.

One of mine has a blocked saliva gland this size. Doesn't cause any real problem - just a bit messy when it "vents out".
